1 Dead, 1 Arrested In Fatal Stabbing At Uniontown Hotel

SOUTH UNION TOWNSHIP (KDKA) - Pennsylvania State Police were called to the scene of a fatal stabbing at a hotel in Fayette County on Christmas.

State police responded to the Holiday Inn Express off of Route 40 in South Union Township at approximately 2 p.m.

When officers arrived at the scene, the found Tre Montel McCargo, 25, in the lobby suffering from a stab wound to the neck. A trail of blood could also be seen leading from the lobby to a nearby room. Police found a kitchen knife and blood in the room.

McCargo was transported to Uniontown Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, Dominique Jones, 27, was arrested at the scene and admitted to stabbing her boyfriend.

She is being charged with criminal homicide.

Their three young children were at the hotel, but it is unclear if they witnessed the stabbing.
