Child, Two Adults Sent To Hospital After House Fire

LAWRENCE COUNTY (KDKA) -- Three people, including one child, were sent to the hospital after a house fire that broke out at a home in Hickory Township early Saturday morning.
The fire started before 3 a.m. at a home on Maitland Lane.
A man, a woman and a child were sent to the hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
Three others who lived there were displaced and are being assisted by the Red Cross. Additionally, one dog reportedly died in the fire, one was rescued and two cats are unaccounted for.
The fire caused structural damage to one bedroom. There was also smoke and water damage throughout the house.
