Child Seriously Injured After Being Struck By Vehicle On South Side

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A child was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle on the South Side Thursday night.

The accident happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 400-block of South 27th Street near The Cheesecake Factory.

According to emergency dispatchers, the 4-year-old suffered head injuries.

The child was taken to Children's Hospital in serious condition.
