Police: Suspected Child Luring Incident In Deer Lakes Park A Misunderstanding

WEST DEER TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Allegheny County Police say an incident that was being investigated as a possible child luring earlier this week was a misunderstanding.

Police were investigating a suspected child luring incident that occurred in Deer Lakes Park in late April and were asking the public for information this past week. Police now say they have spoken to both the adults who reported the incident and the man suspected of the alleged crime, and they have concluded that there was a misunderstanding and the incidents were not child lurings. The investigation related to the incident is now closed.
