Child Hospitalized After Being Burned In Bathtub

PENN TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- A 5-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital Wednesday evening after he was burned in a bathtub in a Westmoreland County home.

Emergency crews were called to the home on Sandra Drive in Penn Township just before 8:30 p.m.

The boy was flown to UPMC Mercy Hospital with burns from his waist down.

There's no word on his condition.
