Charges Filed 1 Year After Teen Killed In Car Crash

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Charges were filed against a man accused in a fatal crash one year ago.

Jared Schillinger is charged with homicide and DUI in the death of 18-year-old Rikki Fleming.

Police say he rammed the back of Fleming's car along Route 28 in O'Hara Township.

Her car then rolled over several times, throwing her out of it.

Sunday her family held a vigil in Etna.

Her parents said they have a lot of mixed feelings.

"When she died I died," said her mother. "She was my friend, she would go shopping with me, she would go to the movies with me. I don't care about that anymore -- I don't have a young daughter. I'm destroyed."

Schillinger hasn't been arrested yet.

Police are trying to track him down.
