Carrick Apartment Building Damaged By Fire

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- An apartment building in Pittsburgh's Carrick neighborhood was damaged by fire Monday evening.

Pittsburgh firefighters were alerted to a 2-alarm fire along Spencer Avenue shortly before 8:00 p.m.

The fire grew to three alarms and was brought under controller shortly after 8:00 p.m.

The building was deemed unoccupied and no injuries were reported.

The Fire Investigation Unit is investigating the cause.
