Carnegie Library's Downtown Branch Preparing To Reopen Next Week

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- After a years-long renovation totaling over $5 million, the Carnegie Library in downtown Pittsburgh is set to reopen.

The library has announced it will reopen on April 20.

Because of the pandemic, occupancy will be reduced and patrons will be limited to one hour inside.

Tours of the new facility are being offered.

Mandatory temperature screenings will be done before each tour and guests are required to wear face masks.
