Car Fire Spreads To Auto Body Shop In McKees Rocks

McKEES ROCKS (KDKA) -- A fire sent emergency crews to an auto body shop this afternoon in McKees Rocks.

The blaze broke out around 4:30 p.m. at Isenberg's Auto Bodymore on Broadway Street.

A worker using a blowtorch in the back lot reportedly caught a car on fire.

The flames then spread to the building.

Five cars were destroyed, but firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading to a dry cleaner next door.

No injuries were reported.

Firefighters brought the situation under control shortly after 5 p.m.
