Car Crashes Into Fire Truck In Pulaski Twp.

BEAVER COUNTY (KDKA) -- A driver crashed into the back of a fire truck in Pulaski Township early Saturday morning.

The incident happened around 8 a.m.

Sources at KDSTV say a 26-year-old woman was approaching the intersection of Rochester Road and Marion Hill Road and was unable to stop at a red light due to slippery road conditions. A Daughtery Fire Department rescue truck with several firefighters on board was passing through the intersection at the time.

The driver of the fire truck saw the woman and attempted to swerve out of the way, but the woman slid into the intersection and hit the back of the fire truck. Her air bag was deployed in the collision.
