Bylsma Joins NHL Network In Analyst Role

NEW YORK (KDKA) – It only took a couple of days, but Dan Bylsma has landed another job.

According to a statement from the NHL, the former Pittsburgh Penguins coach will be joining the NHL Network as a studio analyst for Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

Bylsma, the winningest coach in Penguins history, was relieved of his coaching duties Friday when the Penguins announced Jim Rutherford as the new general manager.

During his time in Pittsburgh, Bylsma guided the Penguins to a Stanley Cup title in 2009, was awarded the Jack Adams Trophy in 2011 and coached Team USA during the Olympics in Sochi this year.

Game 3 is tonight at Madison Square Garden. NHL Network's three hours of pregame coverage will begin at 5 p.m.

The Los Angeles Kings lead the series 2-0.
