Butler Woman Killed In Head-On Crash

CHICORA (KDKA) -- A 25-year-old woman was killed Thursday in a head-on collision in Chicora.

According to a report from state police, it happened around 7 a.m. in the 1300-block of Chicora Road (Route 68.)

Gwendylyn Pearl Green of Butler failed to negotiate a curve and crossed the center line of the roadway, hitting an on-coming tractor-trailer.

Green was killed upon impact.

Investigators are working to determine what caused the crash.
