Buster Olney Predicts Pirates To Win World Series

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Expectations in Pittsburgh have been on the rise for the Pirates as they've now made the playoffs in back-to-back years, but one national expert has taken that to a whole new level.

ESPN's Buster Olney isn't just expecting the Pirates to make the playoffs, he's expecting them to win it all this year.

The Pirates are coming off an 88-74 record in 2014 and a 94-668 record in 2013 advancing as far as the divisional series after going through the play-in game both years.

Pirates President Frank Coonelly recently talked with The FAN Morning Show about the direction the franchise is headed and the amount of resources they're putting back into the team.

You can hear that whole interview here.
