PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Devin Bush has officially arrived in Pittsburgh.

The linebacker out of the University of Michigan was selected 10th overall in the first round of the NFL Draft by the Steelers Thursday night.

Pittsburgh needed to trade up 10 spots to ensure Bush would be wearing black and gold next season.

Bush arrived at the Pittsburgh International Airport around 1 p.m. Friday with plenty of fans waiting for him at the gate.

He then visited Heinz Field, toured the Steelers practice facility, and met with his coaches and team personnel.

Bush was introduced to the media Friday at 5 p.m. on the South Side.

"As soon as I seen the trade, I looked at my phone immediately because I knew somebody was gonna call me, whether it was gonna be Kevin Colbert or Mike Tomlin. So as soon as that call came in, it said Pittsburgh and I answered it and that was that," Bush said. "Everybody here wants to be a winner. Everybody here is family-oriented. They want the best for each other."

Bush will make an appearance the Steelers Draft Party at Heinz Field on Saturday before he heads back home.
