Bulldogs Audition For The Pittsburgh Opera

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Over a dozen bulldogs auditioned for the Pittsburgh Opera Saturday.

They were trying out for two spots in "The Barber of Seville." The dogs will work alongside the main character Bartolo.

The dogs didn't have to sing or bark, but they had to impress the director with their obedience skills.

"We are asking that they do modest dog behavior: 'come,' 'sit,' 'stay,'" said director Tara Kovach.

The Barber of Seville opens in April at the Benedum Center in Downtown Pittsburgh.

Whoever lands the role, we hope they break a leg!
