Brief Pursuit Ends With Car Crash In Carnegie

CARNEGIE (KDKA)- A teenager is in trouble after a brief pursuit with police in Carnegie early Monday morning.

It started around 2:30 a.m. along Boden Avenue in Scott Township. Police noticed the 15-year-old hit a curb and kept driving.

Police pursued the car for about a block, until the car slammed into some bushes in front of an apartment building on Bolden Avenue in Carnegie.

The 15-year-old driver tried to flee the scene. Police say he is a runaway from McKeesport who has been staying with his aunt in the Carnegie area recently.

The crashed car was towed away. The crash did not damage the apartment building.
