Bread Of Lies: 2 Arrested In Hoagie Scam

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police say Carrick residents were duped by a hoagie sale scam.

Police say 27-year-old Angela Sibert was arrested for going door-to-door in Carrick, pre-selling hoagies for $6 as part of a fake fundraiser.

Nearly 100 false hoagie sales were made.

Police also say 31-year-old Margie Johnson was involved in the scheme.

Authorities are putting together a list of potential victims in the Carrick areas.

Anyone who thinks they may be a victim can call Zone 3 Det. John Gagliardi at 412-488-8330 ext. 300.
