Brad Pitt Reportedly Bringing Steubenville Rape Case To Big Screen

STEUBENVILLE (KDKA) – Brad Pitt is reportedly going to bring the Steubenville rape case to the big screen.

Pitt's production company "Plan B" has reportedly secured the rights to "Anonymous vs. Steubenville" a Rolling Stone article by David Kushner.

The article follows the fight of Deric Lostutter, an online vigilante, with the hacker collective Anonymous.

Anonymous sent out a tweet about the movie Tuesday.

Lostutter was instrumental in exposing the town-wide coverup of a 16-year-old's rape by football players Trent Mays and Ma'Lik Richmond.

Lostutter would end up facing 10-years in prison for his actions, while Mays and Richmond were only sentenced to one.

He also tweeted a confirmation to the film, directing all comments to his lawyer.

Plan B Entertainment producers Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, and Jeremy Kleiner, last worked on Best Picture-winner 12 Years a Slave.
