Booster Seats Recalled Due To Harness Issues

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A company is recalling some models of booster seats due to an issue with the harness.

The recall affects the following Evenflo "Evolve Booster Seat" models: 34411700 (US), 34411741 (US), and 34411700C (Canada). Approximately 32,000 seats manufactured before Feb. 9, 2016, are included in the recall.

The seats are being recalled because the company has found that some children can adjust and possibly loosen the harness without adult assistance. The company says the recall only applies to the harnessed mode of the seat.

No injuries have been reported in connection to the issue.

Evenflo will provide a free remedy kit with installation instructions to anyone with seats affected by the recall. More information can be found here: safety.evenflo.com
