Board Approves Tuition Increase For Pennsylvania Colleges

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - It will cost more to study at Pennsylvania's 14 state-run universities.

The state's Higher Education Board of Governors on Thursday approved a 2.5 percent tuition increase.

Tuition for most fulltime Pennsylvania residents will cost $3,619 per semester, or $7,238 for a year.

Officials say it is the smallest percentage tuition increase in a decade.
