Bloomfield Bridge Lane Restrictions Begin Next Week

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Drivers who use the Bloomfield Bridge will be adding time to their commute beginning next week.

On Friday, PennDOT announced single-lane restrictions on the Bloomfield Bridge will begin Monday, July 18, weather permitting.

According to a news release, single-lane restrictions will occur in each direction on the Bloomfield Bridge weekdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. as crews conduct mountable curb work and ADA curb cut ramp installation.

Additionally, lane restrictions will occur as needed on Blessing Street.  The work will continue through Friday, August 5.

Motorists are advised to use caution, slow down and expect changing traffic patterns.
