Bigelow Boulevard Temporarily Closes After Tree Falls On Vehicle

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Bigelow Boulevard was temporarily closed after a tree fell on a vehicle.

The crash happened Wednesday night in an outbound lane.

Officials had to remove the driver from the vehicle.

"It looks pretty scary, the door is hanging off," Chris Ferari said. "I surely wouldn't want to be in it."

The tree fell in the 2300 block of the boulevard in the Strip District.

The tree blocked the roadway.

The driver is going to be OK.
