Bethel Park Police say when they arrived on the scene, they found a 27-year-old man, who surrendered to them. They also found a 49-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his midsection. He was taken to a hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Officials identified the victim Friday as James E. Rust.

Allegheny County Police homicide detectives said there was an argument between the two men before the shooting.

They lived on separate floors inside the duplex.

Detectives will be handing over their findings on the shooting to the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office, which will decide if any charges will be filed.
