Child Has Seizure At YMCA In Beaver County, Rushed To Hospital

ROCHESTER TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- A child was rushed to the hospital from a YMCA in Beaver County on Tuesday afternoon.

After initial reports of a near drowning, officials at the YMCA say the child instead was suffering from a medical condition.

They say a child with a pre-existing condition had a seizure in the locker room after swimming at the center.

The child was taken to the hospital for treatment, and is recovering.

Police and paramedics responded to the scene.

Beaver County YMCA officials say the child's parents were notified immediately.
