Beaver Co. Police Officer Injured In Car Crash

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A Beaver County police officer was hospitalized following a crash Sunday.

The officer was on his way to assist another officer on a call in Economy Borough when he got into the accident.

Authorities say the police cruiser was t-boned by a truck while he was driving along Route 65.

He was later taken to Allegheny General Hospital.

No word on the officer's identity or the extent of his injuries.
