Beaver Co. Man Released From Jail After Metal Pipe Assault By Ex-Girlfriend

ALIQUIPPA (KDKA) -- A Beaver County man, arrested by Aliquippa Police on charges of assault and harassment, was released from jail Thursday after spending about 10 days behind bars.

Justin Lindsey, 24, was picked up by police after his ex-girlfriend came at him with a metal pipe when she saw him on the front porch of his home with another woman.

Lindsey used his cell phone to videotape the confrontation.

Justin's mother, Twila Lindsey, complained that Aliquippa Police refused to look at the video her son had recorded when she and her husband brought him to the police station where the charges were filed.

A Beaver County judge dismissed all charges against Lindsey, and he was released from custody.
