Bear Spotted Roaming In West Mifflin

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A bear has been spotted roaming in West Mifflin.
The West Mifflin Police Department announced in a Facebook post Wednesday that a bear was seen in the area of Kansas Street, Sunset Drive and Campbell Circle.

The police warned residents to not approach or attempt to capture the animal. They also advised against taking a selfie with the bear or petting it.
Officials said if you see the bear in or close to a metropolitan area, leave and call the police.
