Multiple Water Main Breaks Cause Outages In Avalon
AVALON (KDKA) -- Avalon residents may experience water shortages or outages Saturday due to multiple water main breaks.
According to the Allegheny County Twitter account, the fire department and police department were working to close several roads after multiple water main breaks occurred Saturday morning.
The water main breaks are affecting Center Avenue and North Chestnut Street, Orchard Avenue and South Chestnut Street and Howden Street.

Residents are warned that there may be water shortages or outages while crews work to make repairs.
Around 2 p.m., Allegheny County officials said a water buffalo had been set up at the fire department at 629 New Brighton Road.
