Authorities Seize Large Amount Of Oxycodone, Cash From W.Va. Man

WHEELING, W.Va. (KDKA) -- A man was arrested Saturday after authorities allegedly found him in possession of a large amount of prescription painkillers and cash.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of West Virginia, 26-year-old Suhip E. Ebrahim of Bridgeport was discovered in the Wheeling area with almost 600 oxycodone pills and more than $100,000 in cash. He is being held without bond and faces charges of possession with intent to distribute.

The arrest was made by officers from both the Ohio Valley and Marshall County Drug and Violent Crime Task Forces.
