1 Person Dead In ATV Accident In Washington County

MARIANNA, Pa. (KDKA) -- A man was killed when his ATV flipped over in Washington County on Thursday afternoon, causing him to be run over by a vehicle.
It happened around 5:15 p.m. on Main Street in Marianna.
According to state police, Tyler Markoff, of Marianna, was traveling on Rosewood Avenue and attempted to turn onto Main Street when his ATV rolled, causing him to be thrown off the vehicle and into the opposite lane of traffic.
A driver of an oncoming vehicle was unable to brake in time.
EMS treated Markoff at the scene and he was flown to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The crash remains under investigation.
