Arctic Blast Affects Blood Donation
The Central Blood Bank is asking for your help to replenish supplies.
They say the extreme cold this winter has created a nationwide shortage with hundreds of donors cancelling or missing appointments the past two weeks.
That means they can't meet demand from hospitals, and elective surgeries may be in jeopardy.
