Amid Sex Scandal, Plum District Unveils Complaint-Reporting Form

PLUM, Pa. (AP) - Officials in a western Pennsylvania school district say they've made it easier to report suspected sexual assault as an investigation unfolds into whether school administrators knew about any teacher-student relationships in the district.

Two Plum High School teachers and a former baseball coach were charged this year of institutional sexual assault. The Allegheny County district attorney's office is now investigating whether district officials properly dealt with other complaints about inappropriate relationships.

Michael Brewer, director of administrative services for the district, said at a meeting Tuesday that the district's website now has links that are easier to find for emailing complaints to the district.

Teachers Jason Cooper, 38, and Joseph Ruggieri, 40, were charged in February for what authorities said were sexual relationships with high school girls, and a third teacher, Drew Zoldak, 40, was charged with intimidating one of the girls.

Michael Cinefra, 29, a former substitute math teacher and baseball coach, was charged in September for allegedly having a relationship with a 15-year-old student.
