The 2014 U.S. Open Championship begins Monday in New York City and world-class tennis players will be competing for the coveted U.S. Open trophy for a fortnight.

In the Open Era, there have been a number of tennis players to win two or more U.S. Open Singles Championships.

Here's the 6 tennis players who have won the most Singles Championship titles in the Open Era:
