46 Penn Hills Students Suspended For Dress Code Violations

PENN HILLS (KDKA) -- There have been concerns this week surrounding dress code violations at Penn Hills High School.

In a statement sent to KDKA, Communications Consultant Teresita K. Kolenchak says that 46 students were suspended for "various dress code violations" for the time period of Monday through Thursday of this week.

Earlier this year the school announced that hoodies would no longer be allowed in class.

"We are not sure where the exaggerated reports of "hoodie incidents" for today are coming from.  We have actually been very pleased with the level of cooperation from both parents and students on this issue,"  Kolenchak said.
