4 Sustain Injuries In Fort Pitt Bridge Car Accident

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A driver and his three passengers sustained injuries in a one-car accident on the Fort Pitt Bridge early Sunday morning.

Police say 23-year-old Rodney Steele III was driving eastbound on the Fort Pitt Bridge around 3:30 a.m. when he struck a crash cushion. Three passengers -- 22-year-old Lance Haburjak, 24-year-old James Caterino and 21-year-old Kaitlyn Kearns -- were in the car with Steele at the time of the crash.

Haburjak sustained a minor injury, while Steele and Caterino were reported to have moderate injuries. Kearns was severely injured. According to police, none of them were wearing seatbelts.
