3 Vehicles Struck By Rocks Thrown Onto I-376

BEAVER (KDKA) -- State police are investigating after three vehicles were hit with rocks thrown or dropped onto Interstate 376 in Brighton Township.

Troopers say two trucks from Gordon Food Service were hit with rocks on the I-376 East just before 1 a.m. Monday. Neither operator was hurt.

Less than an hour later, a large chunk of limestone was hurled at the vehicle of Frank and Debra Boyer as they traveled down the I-376 West.

The rock went through the windshield. Fortunately neither occupants was injured.
