2013-14 LIHEAP Program Deadline Extended

The state is accepting applications for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program known as LIHEAP.

And the deadline to apply as been extended until April 18.

The program offer assistance to eligible individuals and families for help with winter heating bills.

There are the income-eligibility guidelines by household size.

There are cash grants to help with heating bills and crisis grants to help in emergency situations, such as a broken furnace.
