2-Year-Old Girl Drowns In Fayette County

FAYETTE COUNTY (KDKA) -- A 2-year-old girl has drowned in Fayette County.
State police confirmed to KDKA that the child drowned in a private above-ground swimming pool Thursday on Coolspring Street in Hopwood.

The girl was taken to a local hospital, and the coroner was called to the home.
The investigation is continuing into the incident.
It is not known if charges will be filed.
