2-Year-Old Falls To Death From Home's 3rd-Story Attic Window

DUBOIS, Pa. (AP) - Police and a coroner are investigating the death of a 2-year-old who fell from the third-story attic window of a home in Clearfield County.

Sandy Township police and the Clearfield County coroner's office say it appears the fall Tuesday night was an accident.

Authorities haven't released the toddler's name and a coroner hasn't announced details of the child's death as the investigation continued Friday.

Police said in a news release Friday that the child died at a hospital shortly after the fall.

Coroner Mike Morris didn't immediately return a call Friday seeking comment on the progress of the investigation.
