2 Women Robbed, Forced From Moving Vehicle At Gunpoint

APOLLO (KDKA) – Two women were injured after being forced out of a moving vehicle at gunpoint during a robbery in Westmoreland County.

According to police, the incident happened near the intersection of Camp Nancy Road and Route 380 in Apollo around 6:50 a.m. Sunday.

Police were initially dispatched to the area for a report of an unconscious female on the roadway. When police arrived, they found a second female with undisclosed injuries.

During the course of their investigation, police determined the two females were robbed at gunpoint and forced out of a moving vehicle.

Police have arrested Matthew Bumbaugh, 28, and his girlfriend, Elizabeth Lazabeck, 26. The two share a residence in Monroeville.

Both are being charged with robbery, aggravated assault, simple assault and reckless endangerment.

The victims were taken to Forbes Regional Hospital, but their conditions are unknown.
