2 Suspects Sought In Strip District Road Rage Shooting

STRIP DISTRICT (KDKA) – Police are investigating after a man was shot during a road rage incident in the Strip District Wednesday morning.

According to police, the incident happened near the intersection of Liberty Avenue and 16th Street around 1:30 a.m.

The victim allegedly cut off another vehicle along Liberty Avenue. An occupant in the suspects' vehicle proceeded to throw something at the victim's car.

When the victim got out to inspect the damage, two suspects got out of their vehicle and opened fire. After the shooting, the suspects fled toward Downtown.

Emergency officials were called to the scene and found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to UPMC Mercy Hospital in stable condition.

No description of the suspects has been released at this time.
