Hazelwood Drive-By Shooting Leaves 2 Injured
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police are investigating after two people were hit by bullets in a drive-by shooting.
It happened in Hazelwood on Hazelwood Avenue around 11:45 p.m. Saturday.
Police say three people were sitting outside of an abandoned building when a car drove by and someone inside started firing shots.
Two of the people were hit, a 20-year-old man from Homestead, and a 22-year-old man from Glen Hazel.
The 20-year-old was taken to the hospital and released. The other man, however, remains UPMC Mercy Hospital in unknown condition.
The building and a car were also hit by the gunfire.
No word on the suspect or motive.
