2 Injured During Jeannette Home Invasion

JEANNETTE (KDKA) – Two men were injured during a home invasion and robbery in Westmoreland County early Thursday morning.

According to police, the incident happened at a home on Lafferty Street in Jeannette around 3 a.m.

Faron Stanford, 56, answered the door only to be shot in the right shoulder and hit in the head.

The three intruders pushed past Stanford and attacked 27-year-old Jocquinn Harris, who was sleeping on the couch.

The group demanded cash and got about $100 before taking off.

A woman hiding in the bedroom was able to call police.

Both of the injured men were taken to Forbes Regional Hospital

No arrests have been made at this time.
