16-Year-Old Hurt In Hit-And-Run Crash

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A 16-year-old boy was injured Saturday in a hit-and-run crash.

It happened on Greenfield Avenue near Tunstall Street.

Police officials say the 16-year-old was driving with two other people in the vehicle when they were T-boned by a black Jeep.

The Jeep did not stop and was later found abandoned on Waldeck Street.

Crews had to cut the doors off the victim's car to get him out safely. He was taken to Children's Hospital with minor injuries.

Officers have not released any suspect information on the Jeep driver.
