15-year-old boy dies several days after being hit by vehicle while skateboarding

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A 15-year-old boy who was hit by a vehicle while riding his skateboard last week has died. 

Charles Thornburg died at the hospital on Monday morning.

He was hit at the intersection of Winlock Avenue and Joel Street in Ingram around 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday last week.

The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene.

Allegheny County Police are investigating.
