Police seek 14-year-old suspect in Uniontown fatal shooting

UNIONTOWN, Pa. (KDKA) -- A 14-year-old was arrested Sunday on homicide charges after a man was shot and killed in Uniontown on Tuesday.

State police said they were actively looking for Antonyo Owens, who was considered armed and dangerous. He was taken into custody by police in Fayette County sometime after 2:30 p.m., per the district attorney. 

Officers had been actively searching for Owens over the last few days. Once he was found, he was taken into custody without incident.

Police said Owens is charged with criminal homicide after 38-year-old Anthony Jones was shot multiple times in Uniontown and later died at the hospital. 

After the shooting, police said they were looking for a person of interest and said they believed the suspect knew the victim.

Investigators didn't release any other details about what led up to the shooting.
