1 Injured In Washington Co. Hit-&-Run, Driver Sought

AMWELL TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – State police are asking for the public's help to locate a driver involved in a hit-and-run accident in Washington County.

According to state police, the incident happened near the intersection of Amity Ridge Road and South Main Street in Amwell Township on June 4.

The accident involved a motorcycle and a minivan.

"What happened was a minivan turned from South Main Street into the path of a motorcycle at the intersection of South Main Street and Amity Ridge Road," said State Tpr. Matt Jardine.

Following the crash, the minivan fled the scene. Police have only described the minivan's driver as being an elderly person.

The blue minivan is believed to have suffered damaged in the rear driver's side door.

The motorcycle driver was injured in the crash, but the severity on the injuries is unknown.
