1 Injured In Carnegie Bar Stabbing

CARNEGIE (KDKA) – One man is recovering after being stabbed inside a Carnegie bar early Sunday morning.

Police responded to St. Clair Hospital around 2:30 a.m. for a 36-year-old man who was stabbed in the chest.

During the course of their investigation, they determined the incident happened around 1:45 a.m. at the Y-Not Saloon in the 400-block of East Main Street.

The bar was closed when police went to the location. No one inside the bar alerted police to the incident.

The victim was taken to Saint Clair hospital by private means before being transferred to a UPMC hospital.

He was last listed in critical condition, but is expected to survive.
