1 Injured, 1 Arrested In Strip District Bar Stabbing

STRIP DISTRICT (KDKA) – One person was arrested after a stabbing left one person injured in a Strip District bar Friday morning.

According to the Pittsburgh Department of Public Safety, the incident happened at Cruze Bar in the 1600-block of Small Street around 1:05 a.m.

A 21-year-old woman told police she was stabbed in the upper thigh while trying to back away from a fight between three people.

During the course of their investigation, police determined that Deandre Yarbrough, 22, of Perry South, was the person who stabbed the victim.

He was taken into custody and is being charged with aggravated assault.

The victim was taken to UPMC Mercy Hospital and was last listed in good condition.
