1 In Custody After Mt. Washington SWAT Situation

PITTSBUGH (KDKA) -- One person is in custody following a SWAT situation at a Mount Washington apartment complex Tuesday evening.

Authorities were called to the scene in the 100-block of Ruth Street shortly after 7 p.m.

According to police, a man with mental issues barricaded himself inside an apartment there.

No one else was inside at the time.

Police say the situation ended peacefully around 8:15 p.m. and no injuries were reported.
